WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Tricat Series entry is available. Series award will be announced at the Catfish Triathlon. To be eligible you must complete both races.
The race is Chip Timed. This is our method of timing
the race and helps to get complete results fast. You will pick
up your championchip the morning of the race. Look for a separate
table around the registration area where volunteers will be handing
them out. You will attach this to your ankle by a velcro strap
during the entire race. Relay members must pass it to each other
during transitions. You must turn it in at the finish line. If
you do not finish the race, please bring the chip to the finish
line. If you do not return the chip, you will be charged $35.
Wetsuits Optional.
Bike Helmet Mandatory.
Every Participant receives a special limited-edition
T-shirt.
Catfish participants are responsible for getting to the start of the swim (short walk) to north end of City Island by the bathhouse.
Catfish participants will be provided a shoe return bag which will be returned to the transistion.
Post event food available.
300 athlete limit (per race).
Results will be posted on the web: www.tricatsports.com & runhigh.com 24 hrs after race completion.
This is an Open Course. Keep your head up and wach out for other vehicles.
